01 - 4 slices white or whole wheat sandwich bread

02 - 4 slices cheddar cheese or preferred melting cheese

# How-To:

01 - Arrange bread slices on a cutting board and spread softened butter evenly on one side of each slice.
02 - Place two bread slices, buttered side down, on a skillet or frying pan. Lay two slices of cheese on each.
03 - Cover each with the remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
04 - Heat skillet over medium-low. Cook sandwiches for 3 to 4 minutes, pressing gently with a spatula, until bread is golden and crisp.
05 - Carefully flip the sandwiches and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes, until cheese is fully melted and bread is evenly browned.
06 - Remove cooked sandwiches to a plate, allow to cool slightly, cut, and serve warm.
