# How-To:
01 - Place the strawberries and basil leaves in a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker and gently muddle until the strawberries release juice and the basil is aromatic.
02 - Add the simple syrup or agave and the fresh lemon juice to the muddled mixture; stir or shake briefly to combine.
03 - Fill two serving glasses with ice cubes to chill and set aside.
04 - Evenly portion the strawberry–basil mixture between the two prepared glasses.
05 - Pour the chilled sparkling water over each glass and stir gently to integrate without flattening the bubbles.
06 - Garnish with lemon wedges and extra basil leaves if desired, then serve immediately.
